Join us for Shine Into the New Year, a free 25-minute class sampler at the Blaine Pavilion! Try new workouts, meet our instructors, and take part in our community-sponsored door drawing. All fitness levels welcome. One goal: Move, Laugh, Shine together!


PLUS - Head next door to the Community Center (763 G St.) during the event for an open house! Tour the center, learn about our programs & grab a snack while you take a break from your workout.

Tea for Two: A Valentine's Par-Tea


Join us at Baywood Coffee for a sweet and cozy Valentine’s celebration designed for little ones and their favorite grown-ups! Dress up or come as you are, and get ready to make some lovely memories!

Please note, the Blaine-Birch Bay Park and Recreation District #2 has adjusted it's rates for drop-in classes and monthly passes for 2026.


Rates are increasing to help us maintain the high quality of our facilities and equipment, attract and retain excellent instructors and staff, and keep pace with rising costs due to inflation. Even with this adjustment, our programs continue to offer the best value in the community for the variety, quality, and affordability of activities available.

Candle Making Workshop


Perfect for beginners and craft lovers, this workshop includes all materials and step-by-step guidance so you can create beautiful candles to take home. It’s a relaxing way to brighten winter days and spark your creativity, whether for yourself or as a thoughtful gift. Ages 7 and older are welcome to register with a parent.

Our 6-week sessions are designed for progression and dedication. Registration is required.

We're updating your favorite classes to give them a fresh spin. Here's a little more about each class:

  • Strong Start: Angela combines full-body strength, resistance, and cardio movement. Go at your own pace, choose your level, and power through every beat with a supportive crew that makes 6 a.m. feel like the best part of your day! All fitness levels welcome and modifications are provided so everyone can join the fun.

    Heavy full-body strength training
    
    Wednesday: Dynamic band-based strength & movement

  • Vinyasa Flow Yoga: Breathe, move, and let it all settle. Amanda’s soothing energy and thoughtful adjustments make this Vinyasa flow feel like a deep exhale for the body and mind.

  • Momentum Lab: Work your body, love your body. What if you could get a great workout and repair your relationship with exercise at the same time? Neko’s blend of approachable strength and feel-good cardio meets you where you are, grows your motivation, and gently challenges your idea of “fitness.” Expect fun music, full-body movement, and plenty of room to reset while building momentum.

Youth Dance Classes


Join us for 6-week sessions of youth dance classes on Mondays starting Jan. 12, 2026.

Hip Hop for ages 5-7 from 4 - 4:45 p.m. at the BBAC

Girls Volleyball 12-Week Clinics


Stay active and sharpen your skills during the off-season! This 12-session program is designed for athletes who want to maintain conditioning, improve technique, and prepare for the next season.


12-week clinic starting Jan. 12th, running through March 31st. 
9th-12th Grade: Mondays from 7:30-8:30 p.m. 
6th-8th Grade: Tuesdays from 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Teen Art Studio: Drawing and Painting


Unleash your creativity in this hands-on art program designed for teens! Explore the fundamentals of drawing and painting while experimenting with different techniques and materials. All levels.

Kids Night Out: North Pole Adventures

National LEGO Day Build-Off Challenge


Let your imagination click into place! Celebrate National LEGO Day with a creative competition where builders can show off their skills! Build a habitat for your favorite animal or imagine life on a whole new planet! Prizes awarded for creativity, design, and originality, with age brackets for builders ages 5-18.

Toddler Yoga and Stretch


Join us for a gentle and joyful movement class designed just for toddlers! Through playful poses, calming stretches, and mindful breathing, little ones will explore body awareness, balance, and relaxation in a nurturing environment. This class encourages flexibility, coordination, and self-expression, all while having fun and making new friends.


Thursdays from 1 to 2 p.m.

Art Explorers


Art Explorers encourages self-expression, fine motor development, and imaginative play through art activities using paint, collage, sculpture, and more. All materials are provided. Caregivers stay and participate alongside their child.

Little Chefs


Little Chefs is a playful, hands-on program to explore the world of food through fun, sensory-rich activities. Each session invites children to scoop, squish, decorate, and assemble simple snacks or food-themed crafts while exploring textures, colors, and smells in a safe, engaging environment.


Fridays from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.

Toddler Time Drop-In


NEW LOCATION & TIME! 

Bring your little ones for a morning of
play, socialization, and fun! This unstructured drop-in program is designed for toddlers and their caregivers to enjoy time together in a safe and welcoming environment. We’ll have age-appropriate toys, soft play equipment, music, and space to move around.


Mondays from 9:30 to 11 a.m.

Location: 820 Boblett Street, Room 507, Blaine (NEW LOCATION!)
