Chamber Chat Newsletter

As another year begins, it’s out with the old and in with the new. The new year bringing the promise of a fresh start and let’s hope an improving economy all around us. We have traveled a difficult road these past few years and I am hopeful that better times are ahead and coming for all of us soon. So let the year begin………

We jump started the year early with our monthly Breakfast Club Networking on Thursday the 5th. As has been the case in recent months, the attendance and energy just keep growing. As the numbers increase, we will start making adjustments to the table arrangement to accommodate all of our networking friends. Not a bad problem to have and a great start to the year!

The December bi-monthly Women in Business Luncheon was another huge success and is looking strong moving into the new year. A special thank you to our guest speaker Eileen Kelly Reed of Simplify with Eileen, LLC; also a thank you to our host Floramo’s Restaurant and our sponsor The Savings Bank (TSB) for their ongoing support for the WIB series.

We had a fun-filled evening with our Holiday After Hours Networking at Harrington’s Pub with a special thanks to Lisa O’Neill and staff for ensuring we were treated to some very enjoyable holiday cheer.  Congratulations to our best dressed winners for their festive holiday attire – Chris Barrett (Christopher J Barrett’s Realtors) and Amy Walsh (TSB). Also, congrats to the winning team in the Holiday Trivia, Ally Houghton, David Watts, Karen Benedetti and Laura Wante.

We were pleased to be able to celebrate two members with a Ribbon Cutting on December 8,  Sobella Skin and Beauty, owner Kelly Fiorentino and Refined Medical Aesthetics, Frederika MacMillan, RN, BSN..

Look for more information coming soon regarding our next WIB Luncheon and our Annual Legislative Breakfast!

Thank you all once again for continuing to support your Chamber.
