ANNOUNCING THE LINEUP FOR THE MIAMI BOAT SHOW
On behalf of Intrepid’s hard-working Service and Sales teams, I’d like to thank everyone who came out to see our boats and tell us about your great adventures out on the water. We never tire of hearing about your boating and fishing experiences with friends and family.

Next up is what we consider the ultimate boating event, the Miami International Boat Show. February 16-20, Intrepid will showcase what may be the largest display at the entire show. Here’s the lineup we’ll offer for you to explore:

We may revise our lineup a bit closer to the show to ensure that we have the right mix of cabin boats and center consoles of various lengths, but we’ll be sure to update you. We hope you’ll plan on coming out to tour our models and meet the team.

The logistics of the Miami Beach Convention Center will not allow us to host one of our popular Drive For Perfection events before this year’s show. However, we’ll look forward to seeing everyone at the Drive For Perfection prior to the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show in the fall!
INTREPID NATION 2022 RENDEZVOUS IS COMING TO OCEAN REEF
Our one-of-a-kind owners’ event has been hosted at Hawks Cay recently. And by popular request, we will gather for our annual celebration at Ocean Reef. Mark your calendars for July 28-31, 2022, and we’ll get you complete information as it becomes available. You won't want to miss this amazing event!

STUART BOAT SHOW GETS 2022 OFF TO A GREAT START
The Intrepid family hopes that you had a memorable holiday season and that 2022 is shaping up to be a great year for you and your loved ones.

The new year really put its best foot forward with the first boating event of the year, the Stuart Boat Show. The weather was beautiful, the crowds were enthusiastic, and our boats looked spectacular creating quite the buzz. Mike Allen and his team did a spectacular job of putting the event together… it gets better and better every year! Our team was so grateful to connect with so many Intrepid customers and followers of the brand.
 
NEXT UP: THE MIAMI INTERNATIONAL BOAT SHOW
It’s hard to believe, the last time we had a show in the Miami Beach Convention Center was 2015. But the Miami International Boat Show is back in a big way February 16-20.
 
Not only is it one of the largest collections of boats and exhibitors anywhere in the world, but the experience is utterly unique. Our entire Intrepid display will be indoors, under the lights, ready for you to explore in air-conditioned comfort. For me, seeing our boats in this environment is like looking at jewelry sparkling under the lights.
 
Please mark your calendar and plan on attending. It will be the biggest display of Intrepids found anywhere!

BOATING INDUSTRY GROUP FROM FINLAND TOURS INTREPID FACTORY
In the middle of 2021, Intrepid was contacted by the National Marine
Manufacturers Association about having a group from the Finnish boating industry come to visit our factory. Finland is the Land of a Thousand Islands so, despite the short length of their summers, boating is a very popular activity there. In addition, the country is responsible for building some of the largest cruise ships in the world, so it has a rich maritime history.
 
The visiting group was comprised of 18 people from various industries in the marine business in Finland. I was very happy to meet them all and ask them some questions about the industry in their country, while I answered their questions about how we build our boats. It was a great learning experience for all of us, and they enjoyed their time here. Finland is now on my list of places that I would like to visit sometime, and it was very nice to be able to add this group to my list of friends throughout the world!
 
We kicked off our 2022 Boat Show season with our attendance at the Stuart Boat Show this month. We had a 477 Evolution that was built for family cruising and fishing, and a 407 Nomad FE that was built to please the whole family. Stuart is a great place in the boating world, so I was happy to spend some time there and see some of the marine facilities that are available for us to use when we have questions or concerns from our customers. I also had a good opportunity to meet with some of the companies who take care of what we need to have done in that part of Florida, so the trip was a worthwhile success.
While in Stuart I was reminded that the St. Lucie lock on the Okeechobee Waterway is closed until March 31, 2022. There’s a link to the Notice to Navigation Interests below that explains why, and when the lock will reopen. Please keep this in mind when you are transiting the Okeechobee Waterway. I know there are some boats that won’t be moving for a little while because of this, but the maintenance that’s being done is the first work in ten years and is certainly necessary. Please plan accordingly
We look forward to seeing everyone at the Miami International Boat Show in February. We will have a great display with a variety of our different models on display in the Miami Beach Convention Center.
