Here's What's New with Disability:IN Minnesota
Greetings!
A man fastens a tie for another man who is looking in a mirror. Below reads: I am a mentor. What's your mentoring story? #MentoringAmplifies
Happy 2021! New members, welcome! Returning members, thank you for your continued support. Despite it all, 2020 was a great year for us--check out our Year in Review here. This year we look forward to continuing our work with all of you to drive disability inclusion forward in the workplace.

January is National Mentoring Month and we are happy to announce that we've achieved the largest class yet in our Career Connections Mentoring Program. Our 2021 program will consist of 22 mentoring pairs. If you are one of them, welcome! We are so excited to have you join us and look forward to learning of your mentoring relationship and progress in the program.

The Forum on Workplace Inclusion
2021 logo for the Forum on Workplace Inclusion reads: Workplace Revolution 2021
The pandemic CoVID-19 health crisis has disrupted and upended the way we work. People in all corners of the globe long for human connection but are charged with quickly navigating a digital, distanced work environment. Social protests centering around racism and the unjust deaths of African Americans at the hands of the police have pulled the cover off overwhelming disparities in healthcare, economics, education, housing, public safety, and more.

Interpersonal tensions are roused and there is a vocal demand for systems change to promote a more equitable society across the US and the world. What will it take to start a workplace revolution that moves us from talk to action?
Disability:IN Minnesota is proud to have been selected to present and exhibit at this year's virtual Forum--we hope to see you there! The title of our presentation is “The Power of Disability ERGs to Influence Disability Inclusion and Intersectionality in Modern and Remote Workplaces” on March 9, 2021 from 4 pm – 5:15.
