Building a Brighter Future:

Greenwich Together's 2025 Vision

Greenwich Together is dedicated to preventing substance misuse and promoting mental health awareness within our community. As we look ahead to 2025, our coalition has outlined the following goals:

  • Increase Visibility: Enhance our presence through targeted outreach and public awareness campaigns to ensure community members are informed about our initiatives and resources.
  • Engage New Members: Expand our coalition by actively engaging sector representation, including parents, local businesses, faith based organizations, educators, youth, and local organizations, to foster a more inclusive and representative network.
  • Build Protective Factors for Our Youth: Implement programs and activities that strengthen resilience, promote healthy behaviors, and provide supportive environments for young people to thrive.
  • Provide Resources and Events for Parents: Offer tools, and events to educate and empower parents as key partners in preventing substance misuse and promoting mental health awareness in their families.

By focusing on these objectives, Greenwich Together aims to create a healthier, safer, and more supportive community for all.

Upcoming Event

The Study Escape

We’re thrilled to share our involvement in The Study Escape at the Greenwich Library, a wonderful initiative designed to support high school students during the often-stressful midterm week. Held from 4-6 PM, this event provides students with a much-needed break, featuring snacks, mindfulness activities, and a calming environment to recharge.

A special thank you to Amy Laughlin for inviting us to be a part of this fantastic event and to Alexa Gudelsky, one of our coalition members from Family Centers, for her invaluable support. We’re proud to contribute to this effort to promote wellness and mindfulness among our youth.

Legislative Forum

We had the pleasure of hosting a 2025 Legislative Forum in collaboration with the local prevention councils in Darien and Stamford, as well as the Youth Service Bureaus. This engaging event brought local elected officials together to discuss critical topics, including the state of our youth, tobacco and alcohol prevention, retailer compliance, and education.

If you missed the forum, be sure to watch the recording linked above to catch this important conversation and stay informed on these pressing issues.

Hope Day Save the Date
