Happy New Year from Fun Time Academy!
As we welcome a brand-new year, we want to take a moment to reflect upon the past one with gratitude and excitement. Thank you to the organizations, volunteers, and Fun Time supporters who made the holiday season extra special for our Fun Time families. Your kindness and commitment helped make the season brighter for our children and their families, and we are truly thankful to be surrounded by such a supportive community.
Looking ahead, the new year brings renewed goals and fresh opportunities. We are focused on continuing to provide high-quality care and education, strengthening family and community partnerships, and creating even more joyful, enriching experiences for our children.
This year is especially meaningful as we proudly embark on our 65th year of service. Since our founding in 1961, Fun Time Academy has been dedicated to nurturing young learners and supporting working families, and we are honored to continue that legacy with you by our side.
Thank you for being part of our journey. We look forward to an exciting year filled with growth, connection, and fun at Fun Time Academy!
Warm regards,
Christen Krembs
Chief Executive Officer

We’re excited to officially welcome Craig Harrington as our new Chief Financial Officer!
While Craig may be new to the CFO title at Fun Time Academy, he’s certainly not new to our team, having worked at Fun Time from 2008 until 2012. Since last February, Craig has worked closely with us, supporting our financial operations. His deep understanding of our mission, culture, and goals has made his transition to a full-time role a natural next step.
Craig brings his not-for-profit experience and a strong commitment to supporting the long-term success of Fun Time Academy. As CFO, he will continue to strengthen our financial foundation and support Fun Time Academy's growth.
We’re thrilled to have Craig on board full time and look forward to the positive impact that he will make. Please join us in congratulating Craig on his new role!

This month, we were on the move! We read fun stories and explored all the exciting ways animals move—jumping, crawling, flying, and swimming—as well as the many ways people move their bodies.
Later in the month, we rolled into learning about wheels and transportation. Our children explored different types of transportation such as cars, buses, trains, bikes, and airplanes. They discovered how wheels help things move, experimented with rolling and racing objects, and built their own vehicles using blocks and classroom materials.
Through play, songs, stories, and hands-on activities, children built new vocabulary, practiced problem-solving skills, and learned how transportation helps people travel near and far. It was a month full of movement, learning, and fun!
