Cleaning up after Christmas
We know that putting away decorations after the holidays is not as much fun as putting everything out, but let us help you make it a little easier or at least a little easier when you unpack next year! Our Light Rack Storage System is a simple devise that makes winding and unwinding Christmas lights a breeze. Each rack holds one standard strand of lights. For $8.99 you get four separate racks. Visit our website to see a video on how easy it can be!
Our Annual Retirement Sale
For the month of January, our retired Christopher Radko ornaments and Department 56 villages will be 40% off. This makes it a great time to pick up pieces you may have missed or to start your Christmas shopping for next year. These items will go quickly, so don't delay!
Something New
It's hard to believe, but we already have new merchandise coming in January! This year the first items to arrive are the Spring Byers Choice Carolers. We will be getting eight new spring styles representing various spring holidays.

For Valentines Day, we have a new couple. The Valentine's Man is wearing a red sweater, grey pants, a grey cape, and carrying a bouquet of flowers. The Valentine's Woman is wearing a red top complimented by a white skirt adorned with red hearts. She is holding a bouquet of white flowers.
Next up is St. Patrick's Day! This year, we have a new Irish Santa. This Santa is wearing green pants with four-leaf clovers, a white shirt, and a green jacket. To help bring more good luck to your home, he is carrying a pot of gold. There is also a new Leprechaun, complete with a long red beard, striped green socks and a green suit. He carries a walking stick in one hand.
For Easter, we have a new Easter Bunny Woman, Girl, Boy, and Toddler. Each of these carolers are dressed like white bunnies. Both females are featured with spring skirts and holding Easter baskets. The Easter Bunny boy is wearing white with a blue blazer and carrying a small basket. The Easter Bunny toddler is dressed in his bunny costume and is carrying a small bird house.
If you are looking for something more universal for spring there is a Woman with Flowers. She is wearing a light green skirt with a white blouse and a yellow and white checked apron. She is carrying a basket of yellow and white flowers. We also have two styles of bunnies (one brown and one grey) wearing spring flowers. These pieces can be mixed with other holiday carolers or they are a sweet display on their own.

We are expecting these carolers to arrive in mid-January, but you can pre-order yours today!
Tannenbaum's Reading Corner....
This month our featured book is " Nothing Ever Happens at the South Pole." This fun winter book, written by Stan and Jan Berenstain (the creators of the Bernstein Bears books), tells the story of a penguin who is looking for an adventure at the South Pole. However, the penguin has a hard time seeing anything exciting. Could it be he’s just not looking closely enough to all the activity around him. Like all the humps in the snow that are actually sleeping white polar bears. Or the huge whales that are fighting over who gets the penguin for lunch! Have fun reading this book and seeing how this penguin is missing all the adventure at the South Pole.
It's our 40th anniversary this year!
It is an exciting year for us at the Tannenbaum Holiday Shop as we are celebrating our 40th year of being in business! While, we are still in the process of planning out the festivities, rest assured there will be additional contests and drawings throughout the year! A great way to stay connected and up-to-date is to follow us on social media.

New Hours for Winter
Starting January 9th we will be rolling back our hours. We will be closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Thursday thru Monday, we will be open from 10am to 5pm.
This month's winner of a $50 gift certificate is.... Tracy Klimple. Congratulations!
With a new year starting we all get a clean slate, a chance to make changes, and an opportunity to do better next year. And while we are still cleaning out some of the merchandise from last year, we are excited to have the opportunity to bring in new selections to our store. We have been blessed this past 2017 and are eager to see what 2018 holds for our store and website!
