Are you looking for an opportunity to use your time and talent for your parish? Saint Bart’s is always looking for new members to our ministries. Please consult this bulletin’s attached directory or call the St. Bart’s parish office to inquire about ministries you may be interested in joining. St. Bart’s is a welcoming community and we would be thankful if you gave one of our ministries a call to see how you can bring a positive contribution to your community. Please do not hesitate to call any of the other St. Bart’s community of ministries. We are looking forward your participation and membership!
Recap and What's Coming
What a wonderful Advent season we experienced with all of our Parish Community coming together as we prepared for the coming of our Savior. With our Filipino ministry, we were able to gather together to attend Simbag Gabi masses with our closely located parishes. We thank those of you who helped set up these masses. We also created wonderful memories during our annual events and had the opportunity to give back. Thank you to our community members for sharing such beautiful creches during Follow the Star . We love being able to see the creches from all over the world. Additionally, thank you to those who gave back to the Annual Giving Tree . We collected over 70 gifts to send to families that are served by Saint Vincent De Paul through Our Lady of the Pillar Parish in Half Moon Bay. We would also like to give a HUGE thank you to those who participated in the church cleaning. Our church was beautifully decorated for Christmas and we cannot thank you enough. Another special thank you to our boy scouts for help!
This past month we also held our Annual Christmas Concert, Day of Peace . We want to give a huge thank you to Maria Shao, our Choir Director, along with our choir, who dedicated time and practice for such a beautiful and successful event. Thank you for all your do and for the extra work during the Christmas season. It would not have been the same without!

A Prayer for the Year Ahead

May God make your year a happy one!
Not by shielding us from all sorrows and pain,
But by strengthening us to bear it, as it comes;
Not by making our path easy,
But by making us sturdy to travel any path;
Not by taking hardships from us,
But by taking fear from our heart;
Not by granting us unbroken sunshine,
But by keeping our face bright, even in the shadows;
Not by making our life always pleasant,
But by showing us when people and their causes need us most,
and by making us anxious to be there to help.
God's love, peace, hope and joy to us for the year ahead.

AMEN
