2022 Election for the Board of Directors
There are two (2), 3 – year terms on the Northwoods Credit Union Board of Directors up for election in 2022 and the process for being placed on the ballot has begun.
The two seats up for election are currently held by our Board of Directors Chairperson Jeff Kletscher and by Lisa Pollak-Follett. Our Bylaws provide that there are no nominations from the floor of the annual meeting if there is at least one nominee for each position up for election. If you wish to be placed into nomination, your name must be brought forward by the Nominating Committee.
The Nominating Committee is currently accepting applications for nomination through Friday, 2/4/2022 (the application form can be found on our website). The form will ask you for a statement of qualifications and biographical data.
You can submit your application by placing it in an envelope, addressing it to the Nominating Committee, then dropping it off at one of our branch offices, or mailing it to Nominating Committee, Northwoods Credit Union, 1702 Avenue B, Cloquet, MN 55720, or via email to NominatingCommittee@northwoodscu.org.
Should you miss the 2/4/2022 deadline for submitting your application for nomination to the Nominating Committee, you will have the option to be placed on the ballot by petition signed by at least 1% of the membership (the deadline for submission of a nominating petition is 4/7/2022). More information about the nomination by petition process will be provided to the membership in February 2022
Voting will take place at the Annual Meeting, if there are more candidates than seats open for election (winners are determined by the two candidates gaining the most votes, you do not run against a particular person).
The Bylaws also provide that the Supervisory Committee members are appointed by the Board of Directors and are not elected to the committee.

If you see potential fraud, please notify us as soon as possible. There is a limited time to dispute a transaction so the sooner you can notify us, the better!

To better serve our Moose Lake community, we are increasing our lending staff at this office. We’re excited to announce that we’re expanding our lending team in Moose Lake to include two loan officers and one loan support specialist.
Amber will continue to lead the team, while welcoming Alexis as a new loan officer and Mckayla as our new loan support person, both starting on January 18th.
“I’m excited to be a part of the NCU lending team in Moose Lake. I can’t wait to get out and get to know and volunteer in our Moose Lake community!" Says Alexis.
We appreciate the community support of NCU and enjoy serving all of you. Through community support, we’ve been able to grow this office and expand our staff.
“Moose Lake and the surrounding area is such a great place to be a part of. We truly enjoy the community, helping the local schools, hospital, and others as well as participating in community events,” Doug said.
Stop in after January 18th and say hello to your local NCU Lending Team!
