The Shrine Circus returns to Dodge City on February 18, 19, and 20 at the Dodge City Civic Center. This fabulous live performance frequently features acrobats, aerial dancers, jugglers, animal acts, and hilarious antics from clown personalities. This event is a longstanding tradition of the Shrine Club, and proceeds help provide free transportation to hospitals for sick children and their families.

Depot Theater Announces Remaining Schedule

The Depot Theater has secured the performance rights for the remaining productions for their 2021-2022 season.


In addition to the Play That Goes Wrong (Jan./Feb.), theater fans can look forward to the Jungle Book (Mar./April) and In the Heights (June).

Harlem Globetrotters Return to Dodge City

On Monday, Feb. 14, the Harlem Globetrotters, iconic entertainers and known around the world for their great basketball skills return to the United Wireless Arena (UWA) as part of their Spread Game Tour. FCHS Receives Grants for Accessibility and Preservation

The Ford County Historical Society (FCHS) recently received $24,000 in grants from the Community Foundation of Southwest Kansas. The funds will be used to install chairlifts in the Ford County Legacy Center and for archival supplies to aid in the preservation of documents and artifacts.


Throughout its 90 year history, the FCHS has been an integral part of many historical commemorations and publications of historical archives. The society also manages the Home of Stone/Mueller-Schmidt House and the Ford County Legacy Center.

Excitement for the Southwest Kansas Storm, Dodge City's new Champions Indoor Football League team, has been building since the announcement of its formation in late September.


It's not just the fans who are eager to show their support but corporations and local businesses as well. Currently, the team has established 17 corporate partnerships with both national brands and mom-and-pop establishments.
