Happy New Year from the President of MAAEYC

Dear MAAEYC Members,

Happy New Year! As we welcome 2025, I’m excited to share the events and initiatives we have planned to support and inspire our community of early childhood educators. This year is filled with opportunities to learn, grow, and make a meaningful impact on the lives of young children and their families.

Professional Development Opportunities

Stay tuned for both in-person and virtual professional development opportunities throughout the year. We’re excited to offer ED223: Program Administration in ECE in partnership with Fisher College, as well as Child Growth and Development in May 2025.

Our Commitment to Advocacy

MAAEYC remains dedicated to supporting early childhood educators by addressing challenges like burnout and promoting wellness and professional growth. Together, we’ll continue advocating for policies that strengthen our field and improve outcomes for young children.

Get Involved!

This year, we encourage you to take an active role in shaping MAAEYC’s future by joining one of our committees. Whether you’re passionate about advocacy, professional development, or membership engagement, your voice and expertise are invaluable to our work.

Let’s make 2025 a year of connection, collaboration, and progress. Thank you for your dedication to early childhood education, and I look forward to an exciting year ahead!

Warm regards,

Dr. Cheryl Hovey
