Resolution Revolution

January 6th - February 7th



Details: Are you starting the new year with a goal to improve your health or fitness? Join the Resolution Revolution challenge for accountability, motivation, and a chance to win great prizes! Not chasing a specific goal? No problem—use this challenge as a way to check in on your current fitness level while staying active and engaged. Wherever you are on your wellness journey, we’re here to support you!


How it Works: Complete an initial fitness assessment (required) during the first week of the program to gain entry and earn your first raffle ticket. Then, throughout the month of January, earn raffle tickets by engaging in exercise at the fitness center (exercising for 30 minutes or more, attending group fitness classes or walk club, and personal training sessions). Complete a fitness assessment (not required) during the final week of the challenge for more raffle tickets and a earn a bonus ticket if you show improvement!


Prizes:

  • (2) Lower-level tickets to a Minnesota Wild Game
  • $100 Gift card to Watershed Spa

WALK CLUB

Monday, January 6th, 13th, 20th, and 27th


Capella Tower Health Club and Fitness at SPS Tower are teaming up to host a Walk Club on Mondays in January. Starting at 1:00 PM, we will walk to the Central Bridge and back. This is a great opportunity to get outside, meet new people, and get your steps in!


There’s no need to register—simply meet us at the SPS Fitness Center by 12:55 PM, and we will head to Capella Tower to meet with the other group. The walk will take approximately 30 minutes, and we will be outside, so please be sure to dress accordingly.

Greg Nuckols (M.A., Exercise Physiology) and Eric Trexler (M.A., Exercise and Sports Science, PhD, Human Movement Science) dive into an evidence-based conversation about the research behind setting effective goals and successfully changing health behaviors.
