Nutrition Label Changes
One of the major changes to the new nutrition label is the updated serving size. The goal is to have serving sizes represent what people are actually consuming so that they can better track their nutrition. Aging & In-Home Services' Registered Dietitian recommends visiting the U.S. Food & Drug Administration for a complete list of changes and updates - click here to visit.
These changes were announced in May 2016 and the deadline to implement all changes is January 1, 2021.
