Finding the Best College Fit Helps Ensure a Roadmap to Success

Students often ask, “Which college or university should I go to?” That's the big question. Some students only want to apply to Ivy League schools. Others wish to go where their friends are going or to their parent's alma mater. At PCCI, we're dedicated to determining which college or university is the best fit for a student specifically. That’s what we feel really breeds success. We help students prep for college by setting the foundation in high school and then guiding them through the college search and application process. Knowledge is Power SAVE THE DATE! Go to the Head of the Class - Demystifying College Admissions Webinar At this event you will learn how to find a college/university that is a good match for your student’s interests, lifestyle and budget; how to maximize merit scholarship dollars; how to find other financial resources including home equity, 529 plans and other strategies; managing math requirements/challenges; and how to track all important deadlines for testing, applications and forms.  Mark your calendars for Wednesday, February 2, 2022, 6 p.m.- 7 p.m.

The Final Push Final application deadlines for many schools are this month. Be sure to submit them a day or so in advance to avoid the potential for any technology mishaps on the day of submission deadline. For those who sent out their applications well ahead of the deadlines, you should start to receive your acceptance letters. If you have not yet visited a school's campus, you still have time to visit it in April as you have until May to decide on a school. Don't become enamored with a school before you've received ALL of your school responses, as you may get a better package from one school over another.
