As we enter the new year, we’re looking forward to welcoming you back to our events and want to thank our members, friends and visitors for being a part of our efforts to support the arts in Utah and Wasatch County. We have been busy planning for 2025 including an exciting lineup of monthly meeting demonstrations, painting workshops, the 18th annual Wasatch Plein Air Paradise painting competition, the Fall Plein Air Utah retreat and our scholarship efforts.

Allie Zeyer will be our guest artist for our next meeting on January 15th. Allie is an award-winning artist who works in gouache and oils. She was raised in Utah and currently lives in Idaho. She looks forward to joining us by Zoom. You can join the meeting on 1/15 at 6:00 pm HERE. .

Meeting Demo Lineup for 2025!



We have an excellent lineup of guest artists who will be demonstrating at our monthly meetings in 2025. Meetings are normally held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 6:00 pm, Utah time. Some meetings will be available by Zoom, while others will be in person. Everyone is welcome to attend. Details will be sent out in the newsletter prior to each meeting.

The MAA Gallery is open every Friday and Saturday,

10:00 am - 5:00 pm. We always have 7 artists participating by showing their work for 2 month rotations, and we recently ended the special exhibit of Midway’s historic buildings created by members of MAA and the Plein Air Painters of Utah. The Gallery is located on the east side of the historic Midway Town Hall. Stop by for a visit, and check out the restaurants, bakery and new stores, all within a short walk.
