Message from Rabbi G. - Founder Every day around the world, children are proudly yelling “Power Peace Purpose” as they use the martial arts lessons of Kids Kicking Cancer to conquer the pain and fear of being sick. These children speak many different languages, but “Power Peace Purpose” are words that unite them. As we continue to expand across the globe our goal is for all children in pain to be able to use these words with the breathing and meditation techniques to become teachers to others. In this issue we are happy to announce our new “Breath Brake ® ” phone app, being promoted by Toyota at the 2019 Detroit International Auto Show. It allows adults to hear the messages of our children teaching how to “breathe in the light and blow out the darkness” in their lives. With every breath taken, our children will soon be able to see that the world is watching them and being inspired by their life giving lessons how to conquer pain and stress. When our children are given purpose for their challenges, they have less pain. The message of “Power Peace Purpose” continues! Thank you for helping us to spread their message! Warmly, In the Words of a Heroes Circle Student I like the Kids Kicking Cancer Heroes Circle karate class because sometimes I get mad and I can burn off some energy. The Power Breathing helps me when I have to get a poke and it hurts. Usually after school I’m tired, but on Wednesdays I’m excited because I know I get to come to class. I’m also happy to see my brother Ace having fun in class. I’ve met some new friends. I would tell other kids that it’s a good activity and the Body Scan can help loosen up your body. I think this is a good program for other kids to join. -Asia

Kids Kicking Cancer Canada Expands to Ottawa

Chicago Opens Community Class

Chicago opened its first Heroes Circle community class at the University of Illinois Medical District for patients at Rush Children's Hopital, Stroger Hospital, and University of Illinois. Registration is now open. Please contact [email protected] for more information.
