January 2022
A message from FEI Twin Cities Board President
Dear Members & Friends,

Happy 2022! We hope you had a relaxing holiday break and we look forward to working with you in the coming year.

Please take a moment to review this monthly eblast and review all that is happening at FEI and FEI Twin Cities. We also have many of our events set for 2022 - please take a moment to review these and get signed up today!

As we move into the new year, consider mentoring a young professional. FEI Engage is a great way to give back by becoming a mentor to the next generation of finance professionals. See more information below. Also, please forward the FEI Engage information to early-career professionals in your network.

This year we encourage you to submit news to share with fellow FEI Members. Examples of submission topics include:
  • New hires or promotions
  • Personal or company professional recognition or awards
  • Finance best practices and tips
  • Announcements about your participation in other organizations, such as associations or nonprofits
Email your submissions to me or Rosanne at rbump@feitwincities.com.

Please reach out at any time with your ideas and how you would like to participate further. I would like to hear from you! Thank you for your membership.

Trial Membership - try us out for free!

We encourage you to engage with FEI and explore your member benefits during a trial membership so that you can understand the value the Association has to offer long–term, both at a National and Chapter level.

Previous members are not eligible for the free trial, but we’ve lowered our dues for existing members while expanding our programs, so our value proposition has never been better! And, if you’re in transition, we may be able to get your dues fully paid for by a third party.

If you have any questions about your trial membership or FEI’s benefits and services, please reach out to Rosanne at rbump@feitwincities.com or membership@financialexecutives.org or 877.359.1070.

FEI is thrilled to announce the launch of a new platform that will strengthen FEI and the finance and accounting profession. FEI Engage is a community and content hub designed to engage the next generation of finance leaders, and the only platform of its kind focused strictly on the finance and accounting community.
Why FEI Engage? Why Now?
As you are probably aware, there is a critical shortage of talent in the finance and accounting profession—with no end in sight. FEI Engage was created to connect students and early career professionals with business veterans for mentorship, learning, and development.
Give Back, Become a Mentor
We invite you to participate in FEI Engage by serving as a Mentor Match mentor to share your unique perspectives, wisdom, and experience with up-and-coming finance and accounting professionals. If you are interested, please log in (using your FEI credentials) and enroll as a Mentor. It only takes about 5 minutes to complete the process. Click here to enroll as a Mentor.
Thank you for all you do to support FEI and the finance profession. If you are interested in sharing your knowledge and experience with the next generation of finance and accounting professionals or learning more about FEI Engage, please contact Olivia Berkman at feiengage@financialexecutives.org.
