GSA Workshop 1

The Santa Clarita Valley Groundwater Sustainability Agency (SCV-GSA) invites the public to participate in a virtual workshop focused on the State-required Periodic Evaluation of the 2022 Groundwater Sustainability Plan (GSP) for the Santa Clara River Valley East Groundwater Subbasin.

This workshop is the first in a series of public workshops and other meetings over the next year to gain public input as the SCV-GSA prepares the state-required clarifications and updates to key sections of the GSP. At this first workshop, participants will learn about the role of the GSA, how groundwater sustainability is monitored, and what to expect in future workshops as the evaluation process moves forward.

THANK YOU FOR DOING YOUR PART

SCV Water thanks all our customers for doing their part to save water during the Castaic Lake shutdown. We couldn’t have done it without you! Everyone has an important role in protecting our water supplies and using them wisely.

During the December shutdown, you rose to the occasion. Together, we saved 77 million gallons of water (26% compared to previous water use), which ensured reliable supplies for all.

Thank you again for your commitment to saving water and to our community.
