Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. (Isaiah 43:18-19, NIV)
January 2021 Weeks 1-2 Prayers
A new year is a time for fresh starts. Pray for forgiveness from those we have hurt, and that we forgive those who have hurt us. May we learn from past mistakes, in our vocations and personal interactions, channeling this wisdom into our decision making

Pray for the new COVID-19 vaccines. Pray for expanded coverage, and prayers of thanks for all working to educate communities about the vaccine. Pray the faith community and the influence of trusted faith leaders will help share the message and calm fears and dispel myths about vaccines.

Pray for an end to violence related to ideology and politics. Pray that people find peace within, respect differences among others and strive for calm discussions to better understand others in our communities.

Prayers of thanks for the work of Isaiah 58 Care Foundation in Nigeria. Prayers of thanks for their recent work distributing food and COVID PPE masks to people in need on the street in Umuahia, Nigeria. Prayers of thanks for founder Uzoamaka Uja, who will lead us in prayer January 14. Register to join us. We’ll reflect on Matthew 6:25-34, KJV
