Dear Friends of A Novel Experience,

Wow. We made it through 2020. We couldn't have done it without you. The holiday season was joyous for us--the conversations, meeting your family members from near and far, catching up with long-time customers (once we figured out who everyone was behind our masks!), and sharing in the delight of discovering that perfect book for that special someone. Thank you, everyone, for your support and commitment to our community throughout 2020--and, now, on to 2021!

We're trying to figure out how we can bring back some of our favorite events going forward. For the time being, we're going to continue to Zoom book groups. See below for the Call for Entries for our 15th annual The Dog and Pony Photography Show--we've checked with our Juror-for-Life, author and photographer Ray Sullivan and he is on board for 2021. For this event in April, we're brainstorming with Coco's Cupboard to see if we can do the "Parade of Dogs" in the open air and hang the show in the store for folks to see. Stay tuned. We also want to do some fresh air poetry readings...art and music events with the Pike County Arts Council...and more. If you have any ideas, let us know!

Here's something to consider--Join one of our book groups--it's definitely a great way to start the New Year with books that might challenge and inspire you--and, the groups are always great company.

Too much excitement? Too much political strum und drang? May we suggest an antidote to occasionally overdoing it? Read. A book. No interruptions for ... 20 minutes. It works. Stop by and let us help you discover your next great title.

Many thanks to all--and, best wishes for the New Year.
