January at The Grotto

We welcome you all to come and enjoy the cool, crisp days in the gardens. Winter is a very peaceful time of year to wander the grounds and enjoy the beautiful views.
Start your undertakings today with God

Father, you come to us every day. But sometimes because of our busyness about many things, we fail to recognize you and thank you. As the Lord Jesus starts His ministry today, me we also start this new day with so much gratefulness and trust in your providence. Protect us from every evil and from doing evil against you and against one another. Grant us the heart that constantly changes for the better so that we can truly be called your children. Grant us the grace to imitate the Lord Jesus today.

Grant this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us.

The monthly St. Peregrine Mass will be celebrated this Saturday, Jan. 8, at 12 noon in the Chapel of Mary.

At this Mass, those who wish may receive a blessing with the relic of St. Peregrine. St. Peregrine is the patron saint of those with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.

The St. Peregrine Mass is usually celebrated on the first Saturday of each month, but was postponed this week due to the first Saturday falling on New Year's Day.
