Happy New Year! In wishing each of the Museum’s supporters all the very best for the year ahead, we invite you to join us to ring in 2025 with exciting new exhibitions and programs. As we look forward to the reopening of our galleries following the holidays on January 7th, we invite you to enjoy our recently opened From Mothers to Daughters: A Study of Reproductive Labor, curated by Talia Traskos-Hart '25, with support from Cassandra Mesick Braun, Curator, on view until March 2nd; and Art, Ecology, and the Resilience of a Maine Island: The Monhegan Wildlands, curated by Barry Logan, Jennifer Pye, and Frank Goodyear, on view until June 1st. We hope you will also join us to celebrate the upcoming opening of Andrew W. Mellon Postdoctoral Curatorial Fellow Sean Kramer’s Irreplaceable You: Personhood and Dignity in Art, 1980s – Now, on view from January 16th until June 1st. – Outstanding programming featuring the work of scientists, historians, and artists kicks off the spring semester.
