2021 Pot of Gold Luncheon
Rainbow Days is excited to announce our 24th annual Pot of Gold Luncheon will be held at the Omni Dallas Hotel Dallas Ballroom on Friday, June 25, 2021! Through sponsorships, silent auction bidding, individual tickets and donations, Rainbow Days’ goal is to raise $275,000 to continue providing critical services benefiting thousands of at-risk and homeless children and youth across the Dallas area.

To ensure the health and safety of all attendees, Rainbow Days’ 2021 Pot of Gold Luncheon is taking extra precautions and implementing a series of health policies and procedures in accordance with guidelines from the CDC, the state of Texas, and local public safety and health officials. Changes to this year’s event include:

  • Tables spaced farther apart to comply with social distancing guidelines
  • Six guests per table instead of 10
  • Adherence to CDC mask guidelines
  • Hand sanitizer stations around the ballroom.

To learn more about getting involved, visit the 2021 Pot of Gold Luncheon website.
Community Connection Spotlight:
Help At-Risk Kids
During this difficult time, Rainbow Days' Community Connection team is helping support the social, emotional and mental health of at-risk students across the community. In addition to serving children and youth through virtual connections and after-school programs, the team is working to meet kids' basic tangible needs, such as winter wear, toiletries, school supplies and snacks.

If you would like to help support this project, please check out our Amazon Wish List, where you can purchase items benefiting the students and have them shipped directly to Rainbow Days' offices. Please contact Katy Cornwall if you have any questions about donating.
Family Connection Spotlight:
Mavs Foundation Holiday Project
This holiday season, Rainbow Days was honored and grateful to receive a $10,000 special project grant from the Mavs Foundation in support of our Family Connection program's "Project Hope" initiative serving motel children and families.

In December, the foundation's support enabled Rainbow Days to impact 44 families experiencing homelessness, which totaled more than 200 children, youth and parents living in local extended-stay motels. The services and tangible items families received through this project included food and grocery deliveries, coats, shoes, holiday stockings, toys and gifts, crockpots and recipe books.

Rainbow Days is incredibly grateful for the Mavs Foundation's support of the children we serve, which was critical to the success of this special holiday project for motel families in need. To help us continue impacting these children and families served through Project Hope, make a donation today!
