He is a successful author, speaker and philanthropist who continues his message of teamwork, accountability, integrity and leadership through speaking to over one million people all over the globe. You will not want to miss Coach’s message of tough love and mentorship, as well as hard-hitting advice on how to succeed both on and off the court.
Additionally, we are honored to be joined by Dallas native, seasoned journalist and anchor of Fox 4's Good Day, Shannon Murray, as our Emcee!

Each year, Rainbow Days Pot of Gold Luncheon inspires guests with a motivating keynote speaker, fantastic silent auction and heartwarming stories. Through sponsorships, ticket sales, donations and auction, patrons raise over $300,000 to benefit the mission and programs of Rainbow Days. Rainbow Days needs your help with making our Pot of Gold Silent Auction unforgettable! This highly-anticipated silent auction features a wide array of offerings, including themed baskets. The auction will take place on the day of our Pot of Gold Luncheon, where we estimate 500 guests in attendance. All proceeds support Rainbow Days' programs and services, which provide social and emotional learning programs to over 9,000 local at-risk children and youth each year. The auction opens ONLINE on Wednesday, April 26, 2023. The items will be on display at the luncheon, where the bidding will continue until the auction closes at the end of the luncheon at 1:30 p.m., Friday, May 5,2023.

Community Connection Spotlight:
New Year, New Resolutions!

Community Connections long-time facilitators Robert Lopez and Rocio Rodriguez are a regular presence at Thomas Tolbert Elementary each Thursday. This past November, while facilitating Session 5 of Kids' Connection: Dreams and Goal Setting, a fifth grader named Anthony shared that he was getting bullied for being overweight. He said his dream was to lose weight. He said the group discussion motivated him to try to eat healthier and be more active. He said he really wished he had a bike to help him exercise. Robert and Rocio noticed that each week after that session, Anthony was giving his weight loss dream his all. Suddenly, right before school let out for Christmas break, Robert and Rocio surprised Anthony with a new bike. Anthony has stayed true to his dream and has made it his New Year's Resolution to stay active, to never give up, and to see his dream come to fruition two wheels at a time. | |

Family Connection Spotlight:
New CBSG Group & 2022 Impact

As we venture into this new year, we reflect on our impact on the Dallas community and the children we served in 2022. Family Connection and Community Connection served 7,743 unduplicated children and youth ages 4-17. In 2022, there were 168 children and youth enrolled in Family Connection groups who futures were permanently impacted by this program. Thank you to all of our amazing Behavior Health Specialists and group Facilitators for working every day to make this change possible!
Rainbow Days' Family Connection team is thrilled to begin 2023 with a new Curriculum-Based Support Group! Family connection started another support group at Shared Housing, a long-time partner of RDI. With a new location, Shared Housing's new office offers optimal eco-friendly benefits, including a low carbon footprint, catchers for irrigation and more. A very successful first week of group was celebrated with 14 excited new participants. RDI is looking forward to serving this long-term partner again in 2023.
