January is National Mentoring Month
Each January, we celebrate National Mentoring Month. If you work with a mentor, take time this month to say “Thanks!” Tag them in social media and use the #MentoringMonth hashtag.

Don't have a mentor yet? Now is a great time to start. Entrepreneurs who work with a mentor are five times more likely to start a business than those who do not have a mentor. Get started.
New PPP Loan Information and Resources
IMPORTANT UPDATE
Monday, January 11 and Tuesday, January 12 the PPP (Paycheck Protection Program) loan portal re-opens with priority for underserved small businesses. At this time, the SBA will only be accepting applications from community financial institutions.

Signed into law in late 2020 the new Economic Aid act extended the EIDL (Economic Injury Disaster Loan) deadline to December 31, 2021 and set aside additional budget for PPP loans to help alleviate the financial burden on small businesses as the result of the coronavirus pandemic.
