January 10th is Houseplant Appreciation Day. Stop by to adopt a FREE plant or donate your own houseplants for others to propagate from. Open during regular library hours January 9-30.

Using a grid to enlarge a photo of Martin Luther King Jr. into a large portrait drawing. Whatever medium you choose: ink, pencil, crayon, marker. Can be as colorful as you like. Ages 14+.

Family Battle of the Books

...with DINNER!

Tuesday, January 20

6:00-7:30pm

This is an all graphic novel series starting on January 20. Dinner will be served. Each family will receive 2 copies of each book to read together. Sign-up and pick up your books from the children's section and start reading. For grades 4-8, but brothers and sisters can join in if they want to.

There will be prizes at the end!

Lunch 'n' Learn

After Thursday Playgroup.

Lunch provided for children and parents, with discussion lead by an early childhood expert. Not a class or lecture, but a conversation with questions, answers, and helping each other out.

REGISTRATION REQUIRED

The Friends of the Boyne District Library run a used book shop in the library and do occasional book sales and other events to raise funds for library programs. If you want to support the library, there is no better way to get involved, as a member or a shopper. :)
