Community Spotlight: Mini Nature Reserve

A nonprofit based in Oxnard, Mini Nature Reserve aims to restore and preserve urban nature through landscape projects that engage, educate and empower the local community. This includes creating "MiniNature Reserves" (native gardens) in public spaces and establishing community nurseries to grow native plants for these gardens. The nurseries serve as both green spaces and free community education centers, empowering local communities through their initiatives.
