We have Andy Warhol on the brain--and the heart.

Last Thursday, Diana Martinez of the MAC and Justin Witte of the Cleve Carney Museum of Art spoke to a rapt audience at our January membership luncheon about the "Andy Warhol Portfolios: A Life in Pop" exhibit opening in June.

Justin shared background about this incomparable artist, Andy Warhol. who was also a shrewd marketer. (Warhol is quoted as saying "Being good in business is the most fascinating kind of art.") Diana gave us some ideas about how to get involved as businesses here in Wheaton. Our Arts, Business & Culture Committee is revved up and ready to bring Andy to Wheaton, so let us know if you'd like to get involved. Here's a link for you to learn more about resources offered by the MAC.

Get out your disco attire for the February 18 "Night at Studio 54 For the Love of Warhol Gala," presented by the College of DuPage Foundation. You can listen to an interview with Diana and Karen Kuhn, executive director of the College of DuPage Foundation, who spill the tea about a special guest coming to the Gala.
