Thanks to the generosity of many friends and supporters, the Golden Ticket fundraiser raised an outstanding $61,835 and our inaugural Giving Tuesday campaign far exceeded expectations, raising $7,797—well beyond our $3,000 goal. These milestones demonstrate the remarkable impact of a community united in its support for our work. Overall donations in 2024 more than doubled compared to 2023, for an incredible total of $329,284.

If you never made a charitable gift to Zephyr Point, consider contributing in 2025. If you are a contributor, consider remembering Zephyr Point in your will or through your estate plan. As a not-for-profit Zephyr Point relies on friends and supporters to help fund our long-range plan of necessary improvements while keeping a Zephyr Point experience financially accessible to all.

We are thrilled to announce that Zephyr Point has officially earned accreditation from the American Camp Association (ACA)! This important accreditation highlights our ongoing commitment to providing a safe, enriching, and high-quality camp experience for all of our campers. The ACA accreditation process is rigorous, involving a thorough review of our programs, staff qualifications, safety standards, facilities, and overall camp operations. This is a huge accomplishment for Zephyr Point as it means we have met or exceeded more than 200 standards for health, safety, and program quality established by the ACA, a leading authority in the camping industry.

The ACA accreditation program has a 60-plus-year history and is continually evaluated and updated to reflect current best practice in camps. ACA collaborates with experts from many fields such as the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Red Cross, and other youth-serving agencies to be sure required practices are current and sound. ACA standards are revised based on research in the public, legal, youth development, and camp areas.

Zephyr Point recognizes that ACA sets the standard for the camp industry, and for us, it means ensuring that our camp is a safe space for campers as well as a place that strives for excellence in all our programs.

We are incredibly grateful to Program Director Sara Tillema for her exceptional leadership in securing ACA Accreditation for Zephyr Point. Her tireless dedication and ability to unite all departments were key to achieving this important milestone, and we deeply appreciate her hard work and commitment to excellence.
