January 2019
Winter weather update
Winter is officially here, whether we like it or not. Take some time to learn more about what City crews do in winter, and how you can make a difference.
There is one important thing we ask of you: when it snows, please do not park your vehicle on the street until crews have salted or plowed. If you applied for a parking consideration to park on a City street, remember that it is not valid during a winter event, and your vehicle may be ticketed or towed.

Why is this so important? Because crews can’t properly maintain your street if there are cars parked on it. Sometimes there are so many cars parked on a street that large winter equipment can’t fit at all. Remember, if a plow or salt truck can’t fit down your street, neither can a fire truck.

We’re all in this together, so thank you for your cooperation! [ more… ]
