COVID-19 Vaccine updates
Availability and appointments for COVID-19 vaccines continue to be a high priority for Chicago Dental Society members. CDS continues to advocate for access for dentists in Phase 1A.

CDS has created a page on our website -- www.cds.org/vaccine -- to provide a comprehensive collection of information we have received from area health departments and health systems and emails we have sent to members, in addition to other resources. The page is updated as we receive information.
The ADA has created an employer COVID-19 vaccination FAQ Fact Sheet.

Midwinter Meeting updates!
We're putting the finishing touches on the Midwinter Meeting platform, but here's a sneak peek! CDS is planning to host another Town Hall in February to answer questions and give you a chance to explore the platform before the meeting begins. Stay tuned for updates!

Important Note about Courses

Keep in mind that simply registering for the Midwinter Meeting does not get you into any courses except those non-credit courses in the Corporate Theater.

In order to access courses, you must take the next step and either buy individual courses at $50 per course or purchase the unlimited package at $129 (best value) to access courses live or on-demand. If you buy individual courses, those are the only ones you will have access to in the on-demand session March 1-15.

In order to access all 118 courses, even on-demand, you must purchase the all-access course package.

Grant provides help to special needs children
Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center is looking for referrals for 75 low-income special needs children age 18 years and younger, thanks to a three-year grant from the ADA Foundation and the hospital's dental anesthesiology residency program headed by Dr. Ken Kromash.

Illinois Masonic is beginning its second year of the program. This unique program not only funds dental/anesthesia service for low-income special needs children but also critical training for our Dental Anesthesiology and GPR residents.

Volunteers are needed in January at the CDS Foundation Dental Clinic in Wheaton.

Volunteer for a full day, or a morning or afternoon of your choosing. Dentists who are interested and available can contact Marta at 630.260.8530 or by email at clinic@cdsfound.org.

We follow Illinois State Dental Society (ISDS) safety guidelines and provide appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) so that volunteers and patients feel safe at the clinic.
