2023 Midwinter Meeting has it all!

Be sure to visit the Exhibit Hall each day to learn, engage, interact and shop from old favorites and first-time exhibitors, all eager to see you in person. Don't forget you can earn 1 CE credit each day just for visiting the exhibit floor.

Top clinicians and speakers are a Midwinter Meeting hallmark. They will help introduce you to new methods and thinking to help you grow and better serve your patients in 2023. Commit to a new skill this year!

Seats are still available in a wide variety of lectures and workshops. Search the course catalog, choose your lectures, workshops and events and then register. Get a jump on your in-person requirements before the 2024 licensure renewal deadline too.

Stop by the Job Board in the CDS Booth to see job opportunities posted. Job postings are open to dentists, hygienists, assistants and office staff and only available to Midwinter Meeting attendees.

Postings will go live on Feb. 1 on the CDS website, so you can plan ahead and arrange interviews while at the meeting!

First 2023 Regional Meeting - April 14
Save the date for the first CDS Regional Meeting this year on Friday, April 14, at Drury Lane in Oakbrook Terrace. Note that the day of the meeting is Friday, a departure from the traditional Wednesday.

Quick updates from your board
CDS to pilot Amazon Business buying program

CDS members will soon be able to join a new CDS business partnership with Amazon, permitting discounted pricing on thousands of items you use in your office. The Board of Directors approved the arrangement Dec. 8.

Amazon Business offers business-specific features and benefits suited for work, such as a single membership for all users on a business account, fast, free business shipping on eligible items, ability to guide your users to certain selections, visibility into your spending, and more. Amazon Business also will be onsite at the Midwinter Meeting in Booth 1831 to explain the benefits of joining the program.

The scheduled rollout of information is being finalized this week. Watch your emails for details coming soon.

CDS Strategic Plan accepted

After some final changes, the CDS Strategic Plan document is complete. Once all edits are incorporated, the document will be posted to the CDS website for members to access and review soon.

The plan lays out the society's mission statement, five core values and strategic goals over the next three years, serving as a map for the decision-making by the society. The plan was based on members' input from a survey last summer.

The CDS Review will profile the plan in the upcoming March/April issue as well.
