January 2019
January Book Club News

To kick off 2019, we share two historical novels set in the 1940s, and a contemporary thriller. The Wartime Sisters explores the complex bond between two sisters working in a World War II armory and The Gown tells the story of the women who created Queen Elizabeth's wedding gown in post-war England. For an edge-of-your-seat thriller, E.G. Scott's The Woman Inside is a tale of unfaithfulness that will make you wonder how well you know your spouse.
For our January feature article in The Costco Connection , The Gown author Jennifer Robson contributed tips for creating a regal atmosphere at your book club meeting and a wartime recipe for one-egg cake .
