Happy New Year's everyone,
The beginning of a new year is when people make resolutions, set new goals and plan what they want to create for their business and personal life.
Unfortunatly many of those aspiration fade quickly if we do suppy the mental and physical energy required in order to see positive results.
Change is happening so rapidly that if we are to thrive in todays economy we have to change the way we do business. The way to do this is be part of the change! There are so many ways to get involved and help us create a better future for Freeport. The library has a tremendous amount of resources to tap into as well.
The Freeport Chamber is always finding was to improve our community.
As stated before, It takes a team to accomplish all the things that make Freeport a great place to live and work.

From the desk of President Ben Jackson,
As we begin the New Year, I would like to extend wishes to all of our members for a successful year. It seems to get more and more challenging to be in business. Our recent luncheon speaker, Dave Montgomery, is involved in a government program in which you can get grant money without laying out anything and if you don't get funded it cost you nothing. This is a worthwhile program; I am doing it. This could provide needed relief in these trying times.
Thank you,
Ben Jackson
