Rise of
Venus
oil on canvas
30" x 40"

Available at Ugallery
Rise of Venus is part of my
Trees Squared series. This work considers how we always look for
shape and meaning in our world, even in the most random of things.
By instinct, we look for meaning and significance in the stars and
planets, as did our most ancient ancestors.

New Gallery Opening in
Dallas
I
am excited to let you know that there is a new gallery opening in
Dallas, in the design district. It is right by the Dallas
Contemporary, and many of Dallas's most established galleries, and
I am also excited to let you know that four of my works will be
featured in the opening show.
You are all invited to the opening night! I hope you can make it!
New gallery openings are a rare event, and there are wonderful
works featured from nine artists including myself.

Art Diary
As
well as the new gallery opening in Dallas, I will be
attending...
October 16th ~the
opening reception of the Third Coast Contemporary Show at K Space
Contemporary in Corpus Christi, from October 16th until
November 20th. My work was one of 68 chosen from over 860 by artist
Trenton Doyle Hancock.
October 17th
~ My
work, The Sleeper, has been juried into the Dia De Los
Muertos exhibit at the Bath House Cultural Center at White Rock
Lake, in Dallas. The opening night is October 17th, and I will be
attending through the miracle that is air travel!
On October
23rd ~ ArtConspiracy 6 will kick off its annual
truly amazing live auction of custom-created artworks. I'll be
there enjoying the best night out in Dallas!
The artworks are created by local artists on 18" x 18" boards,
and bidding starts at just $20. I took my family last year (I was
also one of the artists last year too) and the crew created a
wonderful atmosphere, for a very memorable evening. The time is 6pm
till late, and parking with attendants is provided.
Mark your calenders, come along and get a great deal on original
artworks, and help raise money for charity too.
