Cassie's Country Cupboard Weekly Recipe:

Two-Tone Heart Pancakes

Holidays allow for more creativity in the kitchen, and this fun pancake idea will delight children AND adults!
Two-Tone Heart Pancakes
2 cups of your favorite pancake mix (plus the recommended ingredients)
1 ½ Tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
1 T. sugar
Syrup, Strawberries, Whipped Cream for serving
  1. In large bowl, whisk together pancake mix and recommended ingredients. Stir just until large lumps disappear.
  2. Divide batter evenly into two medium bowls. Set one bowl aside. Gently stir in cocoa and sugar into remaining bowl until combined.
  3. Pour slightly less than ¼ c. batter for each pancake onto lightly greased skillet or griddle. Turn after a few bubbles appear on surface.
  4. When all pancakes are cooked, transfer to cutting board. Using heart-shaped cookie cutter, cut a heart out of center of each pancake.
  5. Place a chocolate heart in center of each plain pancake, and a plain heart in the center of each chocolate pancake.
  6. Serve warm with syrup, sliced strawberries, or whipped cream.

What Are We Up To? Assemblies & Installs
Right now we are getting several projects ready for spring! This week we took delivery of 31' Salford 1200 series VT tool that will be our inventory unit. Kurt has several planters lined up for the next few weeks that we will be on the road installing. Call us for all of your planting needs!
Farmers are shying away from taking the dive into new green paint to ensure them planting perfection. Today guys are relying on Precison Planting's specific aftermarket products to spruce up their planter performance. Delta force is replacing "shot in the dark" adjustments with down pressure to apply the perfect down pressure to every foot of your field and also map its action through the field. Vset and Vdrive are replacing Deere meters and mechanical drives to accurately meter every row independently of the row beside it. The additions are making 10 year old planters better than fresh paint from Moline or Racine. If you need any help outfitting your planter, let us know we can help!
