San Gabriel introduces new playground at Smith Park
Last Thursday, the City of San Gabriel, in partnership with KaBOOM!, the Asian Youth Center, and The CarMax Foundation, joined together to build a new playground at Smith Park. The previous playground at Smith Park was originally constructed in 1995 and was in need of replacement after years of service.

If you have large items that you aren't able to sell off, you're more than welcome to take your items to our next Bulky Item Drop-Off on April 13, 2019 at 917 East Grand Avenue from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The event is open to San Gabriel residents only and hazardous materials will not be accepted.
Become a commissioner today

Commissioners are appointed by the City Council when vacancies occur and the deadline to apply is April 5, 2019.
