A fresh coat of paint can make all the difference! We're giving street furniture a refresh, starting with light poles throughout the district and the trench drain in Dante Park, which helps prevent water from pooling in the park. Over the next few weeks, we'll also be painting traffic control boxes, green barriers, and fire hydrants to keep Lincoln Square looking its best. As this work continues, you may notice "Wet Paint" signs throughout the neighborhood. Please take care around freshly painted surfaces and be mindful of loose or flowing clothing to help avoid accidental contact with wet paint.

We've made a small change in our Public Safety program and have assigned two Public Safety Officers to shifts beginning at 9:00am. They will be patrolling the heart of the district during one of the busiest times of day, helping provide an even stronger presence in the neighborhood.

Seniors can place the next order of Council Member Gale Brewer's annual Fresh Food for Seniors program today, Wednesday, July 15, for pickup on Wednesday, July 29, at the Goddard Riverside Older Adult Center (593 Columbus) from 1:00pm to 3:00pm.
