Resilience 1220: Finding Strength Together

Do you care about someone who struggles with substance use?

You don't have to carry this burden all alone. The Finding Strength Together group is a safe space for teens to share their experiences, connect with others who understand, and learn healthy coping skills. We will also explore education around substance use and talk about self-care as you navigate the journey with your loved one.

  • Second Thursday of the month
  • 6:30 - 8:00 PM
  • Resilience1220 Office (3072 Evergreen Parkway, Suite 100 Evergreen, CO 80439)

Green Mountain Recreation Center Teen Room

Green Mountain Recreation Center offers a space for teens ages 13-18 on Monday through Friday to spend their free time playing games, reading books and socializing. Games range from videos games to board games to card games. The space includes a Pop-a-Shot, Dungeons and Dragons and more.

Dec 19 – Duck, Duck, Gift!

  • No white elephants at this party! Bring a gift and battle it out with a new game, Duck, Duck, Gift. Players must be quick on their feet to keep their prize or face the wrath of the Santa Goose.

Partner Events and Opportunities

Mi Familia en Acción Community Health Fellowship

The team at Mi Familia en Acción is recruiting for their youth development program, to begin in January of 2026. This program is open to Jefferson County Youth ages 13 to 21.

Mi Familia en Acción’s Community Health Fellowship is a paid, five month program devoted to teaching Latino youth the skills to build community bridges while learning about the importance of topics impacting the health of the community.

Jefferson County Communities That Care's mission is -- in partnership with youth -- to improve health, safety, and wellness in Jefferson County.

This project was created by the Jefferson County Communities That Care (Jeffco CTC) coalition, a project of the Colorado Nonprofit Development Center. Jeffco CTC is funded through a Community Organizing for Prevention grant from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. The views, policies and opinions expressed are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect those of the grant providers.
