Jeffco Teens and Coalition Meetings
This workgroup meets virtually every month on the first Thursday from 4 – 5:30 PM.

The Jeffco Teens Workgroup is for youth in Jefferson County to work together on projects they are interested in. This opportunity includes learning about and participating in coalition work to improve health, safety, and wellness in Jefferson County.
Project topics may include:
- Substance misuse prevention
- Mental health support
- Program evaluation
- And more!
This opportunity is open to all youth aged 11 – 22 who either live and/or go to school in Jefferson County, Colorado.

Youth Unity Rising Summit
Hosted by Colorado Rising for Communities, DPS Sustainability

This Summit is designed for youth, especially middle and high school aged youth from marginalized and disproportionately impacted communities, who are passionate about justice, sustainability, and making a difference.
Join us for the third annual Youth Unity Rising Summit, a youth-led, community-driven day of action! Engage in educational workshops and enjoy giveaways, free food, and the chance to connect with other youth and local organizations.

This is a critical opportunity for the Jeffco community to come together and donate nonperishable food items and essential supplies to support Jeffco students and families. Help us support our neighbors impacted by the reduction of SNAP benefits.
Donations collected will be used to stock temporary food pantries at select high schools in our most impacted communities.

I Voted Sticker Design Contest

The Clerk’s Office is thrilled to bring back the “I Voted / Yo Voté” Sticker Design Contest! Voting stickers are a badge of honor proudly worn by voters to declare they've exercised their right to vote and remind others to make their voice heard, too. Together, we'll highlight local talent and celebrate Jeffco's civic pride.
Your art could be printed and distributed to voters across the county!
Submit original sticker designs from August 18 through November 30, 2025

| | Lakewood Kids Climate Grant Program | | |
Calling all Lakewood kids! Do you have an idea to help promote sustainability in Lakewood? We’d like to help kids make ideas a reality with our new Lakewood Kids Climate Grant. Grants of up to $500 are available to student clubs, classes, organizations and groups. We want to support kid-initiated, kid-driven programs to make Lakewood more sustainable.
Possible project topics may include (but are not limited to):
- reducing air pollution and decreasing carbon emissions
- improving energy efficiency
- growing food and improving soil health
- increasing use of public transportation and active transportation
- conserving water
- reducing waste
- and more!
