Jeffco Teens and Coalition Meetings 



This workgroup meets virtually every month on the first Thursday from 4 – 5:30 PM.

October 23rd - Coalition Meeting

November 6th - Jeffco Teens Meeting

December 4th - Jeffco Teens Meeting

December 11th - Jeffco CTC Holiday Open House



The Jeffco Teens Workgroup is for youth in Jefferson County to work together on projects they are interested in. This opportunity includes learning about and participating in coalition work to improve health, safety, and wellness in Jefferson County.



Project topics may include:

  • Substance misuse prevention
  • Mental health support
  • Program evaluation
  • And more!



This opportunity is open to all youth aged 11 – 22 who either live and/or go to school in Jefferson County, Colorado.

Are you ready to make a change in your nicotine use?


Jefferson County Public Health offers services to youth and young adults that are low-cost, confidential & non-judgmental.


Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT)

  • Nicotine patch
  • Nicotine gum
  • Nicotine lozenge
  • Varenicline (Chantix) 18+
  • Combination NRT


Cessation Support

  • Develop a personalized quit/reduction plan with a trained specialist.
  • Follow-up appointments for continued support.
  • Mental health & substance use referrals.

The Trevor Project

I Matter

The I Matter program can connect you with a therapist for up to 6 free virtual counseling sessions (some in-person appointments available, too) that are completely confidential. Talking with someone can make you feel better. To start, click on “Youth” below to take a short survey. Be as honest as possible: your answers will help match you with the right therapist.

We want YOUR input on Jefferson County's Community Health Improvement Plan. Discuss real solutions for improving health and well-being across our county! Attend the Chip and Dip Listening Session to make your voice heard!

Jefferson County Clerk Recorders- I Voted Sticker Design Contest

The Clerk’s Office is thrilled to bring back the “I Voted / Yo Voté” Sticker Design Contest! Voting stickers are a badge of honor proudly worn by voters to declare they've exercised their right to vote and remind others to make their voice heard, too. Together, we'll highlight local talent and celebrate Jeffco's civic pride.


Your art could be printed and distributed to voters across the county!


Submit original sticker designs from August 18 through November 30, 2025

Youth Category


This category is open to middle and high school students interested in designing one of the two I Voted / Yo Voté stickers that will be distributed with ballots starting June 2026.


Artists must:

  • Be a resident of Jeffco or enrolled at a school in Jeffco
  • Be less than 19 years old

Lakewood Kids Climate Grant Program

Calling all Lakewood kids! Do you have an idea to help promote sustainability in Lakewood? We’d like to help kids make ideas a reality with our new Lakewood Kids Climate Grant. Grants of up to $500 are available to student clubs, classes, organizations and groups. We want to support kid-initiated, kid-driven programs to make Lakewood more sustainable. 



Possible project topics may include (but are not limited to):

  • reducing air pollution and decreasing carbon emissions
  • improving energy efficiency
  • growing food and improving soil health
  • increasing use of public transportation and active transportation
  • conserving water
  • reducing waste
  • and more!
