Jenny Rae Le Roux's Statement on Gov. Newsom's State of the State Address
SANTA ANA – If you are covering Governor Gavin Newsom’s State of the State address today, please consider the following from Republican candidate for Governor Jenny Rae Le Roux:
“The only thing Californians wanted to hear today from Governor Newsom was that the future will be better than the present. Voters are frustrated after one-party rule has led to the systematic dismantling of the California Dream. We are setting daily record highs for gas prices; businesses and their employees are fleeing California, crime and homelessness continue to spiral out of control; and our kids are the ones who suffer most.
“As Governor, I will make affordability, safer streets, and innovative schools a priority. For too long, leaders in this state have put political ambition and special interests over the needs of Californians. As an entrepreneur, I simply can’t and won’t operate that way. California is in dire need of a leader who gets results - which I have done throughout my career building successful organizations. We can revitalize the California Dream, but it is going to take a new Governor to get it done. California will begin to Dream Again when we defeat Gavin Newsom in November.”
