November Pledge Drive Campaign
Happy November! Our "ThanksForGiving" Pledge Drive campaign has kicked off and will continue through the end of the month. The pledge drive is our biggest fundraiser of the year!

Our goal is to raise $100,000 to ensure
Jerabek thrives this year and next. Any amount helps!
Remember, 100% of the proceeds go directly to our school!

We know this is an unprecedented time and we all are experiencing a variety of struggles. We have seen our Jerabek community stay strong and connected through many challenges and 2020 is no exception! Running club has now moved to neighborhood streets and parks, classrooms have been set up in our homes, and our dedicated teachers and staff are devoting even MORE time and attention to helping our children succeed.

We all do this for the love of our kids!

All throughout the month we will have drawings for both our teachers and families, raffling out fun PRIZES!

Announcing Jerabek's New
Diversity & Inclusion Committee
"Honoring all our stories"
Jerabek has a new diversity and inclusion committee, which aims to help Jerabek in its ongoing efforts to be a truly inclusive environment where everyone feels safe, respected and supported. We believe that the diverse experiences and perspectives that families bring to our school should be viewed as a resource, a strength, and a benefit to all. There are a variety of projects in the planning ranging from a library modernization project to professional development workshops for all staff. Please stay tuned for updates! Our first project is a monthly read aloud by Miss Ruth. Check it out below!

If you have any questions/suggestions for the committee, please send them to d.i.jerabek@gmail.com.
November Read Aloud
with Ms. Ruth
The first Sunday of every month during the school year, families are welcome to join our librarian Ms. Ruth as she reads a special book that is aligned with the D&I committee's goals.

For the month of November, Ms. Ruth is reading the New York Times bestseller,

“The Day You Begin,”
by Jacqueline Woodson.

This book is enjoyable for all ages and encourages young and old to share their stories.

Only ONE more day to get your Square 1 Art orders in!

All orders are due TOMORROW, November 2nd!

Help us reach our fundraising goal!

Head to the Square One Art Parent Portal HERE to add your child's art to Jerabek's gallery.

All artwork must be uploaded by November 2nd.
