Please pray for the
Get-Acquainted Meetings for First State Baptist Church, which will be held in Wilmington, DE, March 26-30. The city of Wilmington is third in the nation for murder rate and is fifth in the nation for robberies per household. As you can tell, this city needs Christ!
Over 20,000 John and Roman booklets are being distributed to every door, along with advertising for the special meetings and first official Sunday service. The goal is to saturate the area with the gospel and then offer a place where believers can meet, be baptized, be discipled, and can continue to grow in the Lord. Capitol Baptist Church in Dover, DE, is the reproducing church under the leadership of Pastor Terri Moore. This is the second time Capitol Baptist has used BCPM to reproduce, and we are thrilled to assist.
The Lord continues to bless the ministry of BCPM as we advance the gospel into needy areas.
BCPM will be involved with a church plant in Cranbrook, British Columbia, April 23-28, and in Charlotte, NC, May 7-11. We are also preparing for the fall church plants in Big Timber, MT; Hartford, AL; and Washington, NC. Pray for the preparations and evangelism and that the Lord would build strong, healthy, local churches.
In February, I was able to preach the
missions conferences for two past church plants. The first was Beacon Baptist Church in Phoenix, AZ. The Lord worked in a wonderful way, and this church doubled their faith promise giving and has since started a Spanish and an Arabic ministry to reach their multicultural area. The second missions conference was Pembina Valley Baptist Church in Winkler, Manitoba, Canada. This was the first church Dr. Jessup helped start, and the Lord has prospered this church to start a Bible college and to reproduce more churches.
These church plants represent hundreds of souls saved and countless families salvaged.
Our staff is working diligently to help establish local churches that will be a shining light in their communities. It is through your prayer and financial support that we are able to be such a blessing to these new works, and we are thankful for your partnership. We will send updates of the church plants through email, or you can follow BCPM on our website at
www.bcpm.org or on Facebook.
