God’s Been Doing Pop-Ups Since the Beginning
Pop-up shops are quite the trend. They're unexpected, temporary, and designed to grab attention. But what if God’s been using the same strategy all along? From Noah to Paul, and maybe even in your own life, these divine interruptions can change everything in an instant.
You may have already experienced one… but did you recognize it? How did you respond?
Click to discover the 3 kinds of spiritual pop-ups—and how to spot them when they come!

MISSION u 2025:
Practicing Hope Together
At this time in history, many of us are struggling with finding hope - globally, locally, and personally.
Join us at Mission u for meaningful worship, lessons that speak truth, and time to join with others - not to put a band aid on the anxiety, grief, and uncertainty we are experiencing, but to help each other find that brave space we need to grow. We will care for your soul and share times of joy and fun as well. The scripture basis for the lessons are the gospel accounts just after the resurrection of Jesus.
ALL ARE WELCOME! Registration is now open!
Click for full information about this summer's Mission u, including the different formats available, the young clergywomen who will be our Study Leaders, scholarships available, dates, and more. Formats offered:
• Retreat at McMurry University
• Virtual Evening Class • Virtual Morning Class
• Virtual Evening Class in Spanish

The Jerri Savuto Girls Center
Members across the Conference are busy creating and generously giving to the Jerri Savuto Girls!! Some are bringing items to UWFaith lunch next week to go with a mission trip visiting the JS Center this summer.
Please share about how your group has supported our 2025 Conference Mission Project. We're going to create an album of all you are doing,so please send your pictures to photos@uwfaithhtc.org
• (above) The UWFaith of First UMC Plano has created 146 skirts in colorful prints and various sizes for the girls! They surpassed their goal of 75 skirts and collected 80 T-shirts too!
• 72 beaded name bracelets were made for the girls living at the center by the members, including teens, of Denton UWFaith.
• SEWFEST! After hearing about the work of the Jerri Savuto Girls Center, Blanche Farmam was inspired to bring together UWFaith members and friends from three different churches -- Aldersgate UMC in Carrollton, the Lake Cities UMC UWFaith, and The Colony UMC UWFaith. Together they made t-shirts dresses for all the Jerri Savuto girls, working two Saturdays to get the job done! It was a time of purpose, fellowship, and fun!

• Most importantly, we want the JS Girls to stay safe! Now that the girls have a safe center to call home, the priority is to build a security fence to keep them safe from those who could come and force them to return to unsafe situations.(There have been many attempts) Tell us about your Fundraising efforts and inspire us all. Our goal is to get that security fence built!

SEEING GOD'S WORK IN KENYA
The May/June edition of Response magazine has a powerful description of JS Center and how it is making a lot of impact! Click to read the 2-page article here.
The Center provides a safe haven for girls escaping forced marriage, so now the girls can attend school and thrive. Together we are helping change these girls lives.
Share this story with your circle, Sunday School class, or UWF group. See how you and your group can support our 2025 HTC UWF project here.
Thanks to HTC UWFaith member, Cynthia Rives (FUMC Denton) who wrote the article. Contact Cynthia with your questions or to arrange for a speaker.for your group. Order RESPONSE Magazine, the official magazine of United Women in Faith.
