Faith Leaders are getting Organized!
LOGM is inviting you to be a part of an effort that seeks to addresses inequality in New Jersey. PICO NJ and Camden Churches Organized for People are hosting a statewide gathering and I would like to encourage you to attend. The goal of this work day is to explore how faith communities might build a shared, prophetic narrative about growing social and economic injustice in New Jersey, with a particular focus on the role of race; and to identify an agenda that addresses our policies and politics in ways that truly 'let justice roll down like waters.'
There is no cost for the event, though we are asking participants to consider making a contribution of $10 to help defray the food costs. A light breakfast and lunch will be provided. Please take a moment to register and feel free to share this announcement with your clergy colleagues.
Tuesday, September 23rd, 2014 from 9:30-4:00 at New Brunswick Seminary, 35 Seminary Place, New Brunswick, NJ 08901.To register contact Sara Lilja by email or phone (609-586-6800)
