The Williston Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) is gearing up for another jam-packed Chokecherry Festival this weekend. The two-day event will be held at Davidson Park (next to the Williston Community Library). Check out the live entertainment, food trucks, mini golf, games, contests, and much more! The festival opens today at 4 p.m. The popular FREE BBQ sponsored by Nemont and FREE ice cream with chokecherry syrup sponsored by American State Bank & Trust will begin at 5 p.m. First come, first served. While supplies last!

Jersey Mike's, Noodles and Company, Starbucks, T-Mobile coming to Williston
|
KUMV-TV - Four franchised businesses will be coming to Williston soon. The site, located on Highway 2 next to the Grand Williston Hotel & Conference Center, will house Starbucks, T-Mobile, Jersey Mike’s and Noodles and Company. It’s being developed by ALRIG USA, which has developed more than 150 projects across 40 states. Project Manager Rachel Delaney said plans to build have been in the works for years, but the businesses lost interest due to the pandemic. “The tenants have renewed interest, mostly T-Mobile and Starbucks. They are what drove us to the site.

Associated Press - Maksym Bunchukov remembers hearing rockets explode in Zaporizhzhia as the war in Ukraine began. “It was terrible,” he said. He and his wife sent their adult daughter west to Lviv for safety and joined her later with their pets. Now, about 18 months after the war broke out, Bunchukov is in North Dakota, like thousands of Ukrainians who came over a century ago.

- Clean tables in the concessions area and premium seating area
- Pickup trash and clean spills
- Parking lot management
- Direct vehicles to appropriate parking area
- Assist with parking vehicles safely and efficiently
- Event Teardown
- Folding tables and chairs
- Loading tables, chairs, barricades, cones, signs, etc.
- Final cleanup of event area after airshow concludes

Low-cost Flights to Las Vegas begin September 7th in Williston
|
KUMV-TV - Sun Country Airlines’ direct flight to Las Vegas is returning to the Williston Basin International Airport next month. Airport Director Anthony Dudas said flights will be on Thursdays and Sundays starting on September 7. This will be Sun Country’s third season in Williston. Dudas said they averaged 75 percent ridership in 2022, which was an increase compared to 50 percent in 2021.
