Cabbage Throw Farm
Certified Organic by NJ Dept. of Ag
Veggies are always delicious fresh but have you ever had roasted turnips?! Butter Roasted Turnips are one of Farmer Dean and Emily’s go-to meals in the spring. Simply cut turnips into quarters, dress with butter or olive oil, season with salt and pepper and maybe even sprinkle with fresh thyme. And don’t forget to add the greens on top, they’re even better crispy.

You can find both thyme and turnips in this week’s $20 Grab Bag. Bags also include baby kale, green leaf lettuce, rainbow chard, and snap pea microgreens. Pre-order online until 7pm Friday while supplies last. Also available at market this weekend: Bok choy, rainbow chard, kale, collards, green lettuce, spring mix, baby greens, microgreens, cilantro and more.

Rob will not. be attending the market this week. He and his team are busy building inventory and aging sheep cheeses. Since Raspberry Ridge milks their sheep only half of the year they have limited supply during the first couple of weeks. The longer they age their cheeses, the yummier they are.
