"I was really proud of our JJL Motorsports team though. It was a challenging weekend because of the weather and with qualifying getting canceled, we had to fight
from the back of the field to the front.
"JR (Norris, crew chief) and the team were able to make great gains during the race and we contended for a Top 10 finish, just lost the handle of the Truck at the end and I had a couple bad restarts. "Going forward we continue to focus on improving the speed in the Trucks and working with more sponsors and partners to expand the program."
Set for his second Truck Series start of the season, Little returns to Las Vegas Motor Speedway hoping to build on their 15th place finish at the 1.5-mile speedway last September.
"We learned a lot at Las Vegas last fall," added Little. "It was a solid finish for us, not exactly what we wanted but I think we can take how our truck responded during practice and the race and be in a much better place for the Friday's race. After last weekend, I think everyone is eager to get back to the track and get a chance to redeem ourselves."
While the No. 97 JJL Motorsports team continues to search for additional sponsorship and partners, the team does have plenty of support for the third Truck Series race of the season.

"Even though we don't have a primary sponsor for this weekend's race, I'm still incredibly thankful for all of our partners who stepped up to the plate and are allowing us to get to Las Vegas this weekend," sounded Little. "It means a lot to me that
Chad Little Power Equipment and Bruce Weeks are helping support Las Vegas. Without them and all of our partners, we'd be sitting on the sidelines Friday night.
"Hopefully, with some luck, we can reward them for their support with a win or a strong finish on Friday night."
