Jessica earned her undergraduate degrees in Nursing and Psychology in Massachusetts from Quincy College and The University of Massachusetts. At UMASS she was part of the Honor's Program. For graduate school, she attended Azusa Pacific University in California where she earned her Master's of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. At APU, she was named The 2009 Jane Cardera Graduate Student of the Year, the school's highest nursing honor. Jessica is nationally Board Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. In the fall, she plans to continue her education, and will pursue a Doctorate of Nursing Practice, the highest degree available for a Nurse Practitioner.
Prior to earning her Nurse Practitioner degree, Jessica has worked as a Registered Nurse in many areas including emergency room, intensive care unit, medical-surgical units, substance rehabilitation, fertility, oncology, and surgery.
As a Nurse Practitioner, she has experience working in family practice, walk-in clinics and general surgery.
Outside of work, Jessica loves riding horses, traveling and having fun with her husband and son.
